This past weekend, I had the honor of photographing and participating in the Franklin Square Community Cleanup. This was a group effort between the Town of Hempstead Quality of Life Task Force, the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce and our community. As a longtime Franklin Square resident and proud chamber member, it was incredibly rewarding to see so many neighbors come together to care for our local streets and parks.
The event was filled with positive energy, teamwork, and community pride. I brought my camera along to capture the spirit of the day— with volunteers and local leaders showing up to support a cleaner, greener Franklin Square.
As a local photographer based in Franklin Square, I’m deeply committed to this neighborhood—not just as a business owner, but as a member of the community. Supporting local events like this cleanup aligns with my belief that strong communities start with connection and care.
Scroll through some of my favorite moments from the day below, and if you’re ever looking for a photographer who truly understands and values the heart of our community, I’d love to connect.
